for my special "bud"

Hey Everyone,
I'm back with my post for The Rubber Buggy today. I made a card using Mo Manning stamps (for my special "bud"). I colored the image with copics and fussy cut it. I used kraft cardstock for the base and for the patterned paper I used A Christmas Story by magnolia paper (Striped cloth). Then cut the paper using my MFT die to have the fish tail shaped. Then I added lace trim and clothes pin from my stash. I hope you like this card that I made

Thank you - Assembly line cards

Hey Everyone,
I made an assembly line card and wanted to share these cards with you. I had fun making these cute cards and no coloring this time. I made this kind of flower pot last year and I can't get over how cute it is, so I made it again. It's a Thank you card that I made for some people and I wanted them to know that we appreciate all the help that they've given us. Anyhoo, I used the papertrey ink die for the flower and pardon me I don't remember the name of this cute die. Then the flower pot I used my spellbinders, the patterned paper was from MME Breeze and the sentiment was from Hero arts. I used my decorative scissor for the scalloped edges and I used Recollection's kraft for the base of the card that's pretty much it! It was so fun creating these and it's nice to be able to use my dies more and more, lol! I hope you like these cards that I made :)

Here's the video on how I created this assembly card: click here

The Size of the card that I used:
4"x5 1/2" - base
3 3/4" x 5 1/4" - the white cardstock
3.1/2" x 5" - the patterned paper
then for the base for the flower is 2"x3"
You can use any embellishments or stamp image that you have, enjoy!

You are the ONLY ONE for me

Hey Everyone,
I made a card today for MFT Guest Designer contest! The winner will win over $200 in stamp sets and die-namics who wouldn't want that right! So here I am trying my luck and I gave my best with the sketch that they provided. This time I didn't use any image just sentiment from MFT...that alone I made myself challenged, lol! I embossed the sentiment using embossing powder and heating tool. The patterned paper that I used was from Prima Nature Garden. I added some embellishments and flowers to finish the card. Also, I sprayed some perfect pearls with water on the card to make it shimmery but too bad the picture doesn't show how shimmery it is.

Since it's already given that I love MFT products. It's not gonna be hard to represent these products, I always use MFT products especially MFT dies on most of the projects that I make. I love them and would be so honor to showcase their stuff if I would be given a chance. So here it is I hope you like this card that I made :)

I'm so in LOVE with you...

Hey Everyone,
I'm back to share a layout project that I made for MFT Scrap Sketch. This is my daughter when she was 3 or 4 months old when this picture was taken. I just happened to find the perfect color paper for this photo. So I went ahead and start making a layout using MFT sketch.

I used S.E.I. design papers for this layout and then I used some of the MFT products Behind the camera die-namicsDainty Lace Border die-namics and for stamps I used the new Lovey dovey sentiments. I added some embellishments using buttons to make a flower shapes and then I stamped the sentiment using my white embossing powder. Then to finish it off I sewed some of the edges on this layout and I really like how it turned out. I hope you enjoy this project that I made.

Gone CRAZY on canvas #1 - using Kenny K. stamps (Cabaret)

Hey Everyone,
Happy late friday! Something new that I'm into lately and I wanted to share with you my very first canvas project! I was in the mood for experimenting and here's what I came up with. What I did here even a toddler can do it, lol! I was overwhelmed on where to start with this project so I thought to myself just try using paint for now and see how it goes. So that's how I started painting and literally just put paint everywhere that's how lost I was with this project, lol! Then I used my heating tool to dry off the paint and then use some of my clear stamps to add designs in this project. After that I sealed with mod podge and then I started adding embellishments and kenny K stamped image. The image named was Cabaret and I colored her with copics and then I added rose to make it look like she's holding it. So that's my experienced on using canvas, lol! Although,my project was a bit odd but I like it :) Also, it gave me an idea to have my kids create somewhat similar to this one for their dad since his bday is coming up. I hope you like my experimenting on this project and have a nice weekend!

I used my cricut machine to cut the heart shaped and then used the sentiment stamp from MFT. I used my coluzzle to cut the oval shaped and used MFT die-namics fish tail as well to cut the white cardstock then I used my TH background stamp to add more style to the kraft and white cardstock. I hope you like this card that I made for this thursday.

Lyra's Journey Mini Album- using MME Dolled up papers

Hey Everyone,
I'm back and really can't wait to share this mini album with you all. I made this for my daughter and her name is Lyra. I fell in love with the paper called MME Dolled up. I thought to myself I really need to make a mini out of this paper and also first time for me to used a 6x6 paper pad to make a mini. I had a lot of fun and my main goal here in this mini is to put photos. So that's what I did and no tags or flip pages etc...I used medium chipboards on all of the pages. To cut the chipboard I used TH die for the front and back then the inside pages I used the Tag shape chipboard that I purchased from Michaels.  I used mainly the embellishments that I have in my stash, I've wanted to incorporate as much embellishments as I can because it's getting old and really need to use them more. Also, I made some flowers using the patterned paper and the dies that I used were from MFT and Papertrey Ink. I hope you enjoy and inspire you to create a mini album.

I had to cover the photos for privacy reasons, thank you.

Birthday memories...

Hello there crafty friends,
I hope you all are doing great free of sickness that's been going around lately. My kids are sick for almost a week now with on and off fever. My first time experiencing this kind of flu sickness with my kids and it's a horrible feeling to see your kids miserable and on top of that with on and off fever. I feel like the flu is playing games with me...and it's no fun. I just can't wait for my kids to see them free of flu and be happy not crying 24/7. I'm feeling the flu too but not as bad as my kids are feeling which in a way I'm thankful or else I don't know how I will take care of them.

Anyhoo, I'm here to share a card for The Rubber Buggy. I used the image by Magnolia stamp Cool Edwin. I colored the image with my copic markers and then fussy cut the image. The patterned paper that I used was from Simple stories Happy day. For embellishment I just added twine and for the instant camera die that I used was from Lil inkers design. That's about it I hope you like this card that I made.

My December Daily album for 2012

Hey Everyone,
I made this December Daily album last month and I was going to post this here when I print all my photos. But I decided to skip the photos just for privacy and decided just to show the finished album that I made. You won't be seeing the numbers supposedly from 1-25 the 25 days before xmas because when I took this album I didn't adhere the numbers yet because I want to make sure I have enough room for the photos first.

Anyhoo, in this album I used the Simple stories 25 days and I used my binder that I purchase for ONE dollar. I was ecstatic about the binder the quality of it is AWESOME! I got a bunch of those binders to use it for my dies and some of my Tim holtz stamps and then I decided to make an album out of that binder. I made a lot of pockets, tags, flip pages in this album the usual style that I made in the past. I decided to make this album like few days before December starts really quick, it took me three days to finish it. I just want to use the paper kit and I'm glad that I finally used it and happy with the result. This album I can fit atleast 55 pictures like mini size photos. I hope you like this album that I made and I hope you enjoy it.

If you want to see this album you can visit my youtube channel and here's the link: December daily album 2012
