I'm Here for You Card...using Gorjuss stamp

Hello there,

Happy Friday Everyone! Time is flying by so quickly we're almost at the end of JUNE!!! Summer is definitely here in Massachusetts and we're having a blast so far. My kids are loving it inspite of the heat and sweat, lol! Anyhoo, I made a card using Gorjuss girls ( I gave you my Heart). I paper pieced her from her hair, arms, dress, socks and even the paper that she's holding. I used the patterned paper from MME (Fine and Dandy). Then for the embellishments I used from Recollections and some handmade flowers that I made using the MFT die-namics rolled roses. I also added lace trim on the side of the front paper and punched some border using my EK punch. I used MFT for the sentiment.  That's about it, I hope you like this card that I made.

Our Condolences/Sympathy Card

Hey Everyone,
      I made this card really quick for someone's friend who passed away. I had to cover the name as you can see in the picture for privacy. I just used some of my scraps and went and look for some card sketch. I added some butterfly using MS punch, white ribbon and handmade flowers and added some bling and then here it is...I hope you like this card.

Happy Father's Day 12x12 Layout

Hey Everyone,
        Happy Father's day to all the dad's out there! I just finished this 12x12 layout that I made for my honey...just last night :) We were busy yesterday morning and we took the kids swimming. So glad that I managed to finish this layout or else that wouldn't be good, lol! Anyways, I tried to take a picture of this layout outside and inside our house but I just couldn't seem to get the right photo that I want. Oh well, what can i do... I used the paper pad from Recollections Portobello Road. I used TH paper rossettes then just added some pieces of paper for the back of the photos. Added little buttons and ripped some part of the paper cuz' I like to be a bit grungy :) That's pretty much what I did...I hope you like this layout that I made.

Father's Day (Best Dad Ever)...Tag/Bookmark

Hello there,
          What a busy day we had today! My son had his first dental appt. and oh boy he did awesome as a first timer :) He just talked on everybody there...hehehe...When something new like that about to happen I always prepare my kids...like talking to them what are they going to expect when they see a doctor or anything. I just want to make sure they won't get scared or surprise, so far so good :D

         Anyway, Father's day is just around the corner. So I decided to make a tag/bookmark for my honey since he likes to read books. I used my TH die (Tag, Bookplates), and manila cardstock is the best to work with distressing so far. It holds whatever I threw on that paper, awesome paper to work with. I pretty match created the same technique that I love. I used different brand of stamps to get the design that I want in my head. After I'm happy with the design that I created. I start applying distressing inks all over the tag. I added shimmer by using Perfect Pearls and sprayed some water to seal it. Just to make sure that the shimmer will stay and won't smudge. I applied Mod Podge another thing that I love to use on pretty much on any project that I create.  Then just some yarns. I hope you like this tag I created and inspire you to create one :)

Hey Girl... card using TGF Miss Anya Bags

Hey Everyone,
     Happy Monday, I hope you all had a great weekend. I'm gonna be busy this week lots of appointments for my kiddos. Hopefully, I will manage to make a card but will see...I made this card using Jen Shults Card Sketch. For the stamped image I used one of the Miss Anya Bags. I colored her with my copic markers and paper pieced her bag matching the patterned paper that I used. I love the simplicity in this card. It really helps sometimes when you just have a sketch that you can follow. I usually make my own layout for the most part.

      It was easy to create and usually it takes me pretty much the whole day just to create one card. Well, on and off because of my kids they're young needs my attention all the time. It's not like I can sit in my craft area and have a long break hehehe...It's not like that at all but I'm happy and can't complain with all what's going on with my life as a full time mom. I love every minute spending time with my kids knowing that I'm here watching them 24/7 makes me feel 100% happy and feel better. Less worry in the outside world...but they'll be going to school soon, I will mostly have to deal with  myself  on seperation anxiety, lol! My son is sooo ready for school, he can't wait really. Anyway, I got carried away here with my personal life hehehe...I hope you like this card that I made.

A little something...

Hey Everyone,
      Happy Friday! I made a card using Sweet November stamp Fairwee's Josie's Cupcake. (C.C. Designs).  I had so much fun coloring her and her cupcake. I colored her with my copics and then paper pieced her dress and the cupcake liner. I added shimmery on her wings, her shoes, all the edges of the papers even on the sentiment. My sentiment is from C.C.designs as well. Some of the shimmers I added glossy accent. On her cupcake I added white 3D fabric paint. To make it look like sprinkles :)  I used some papers from my stash and Bazzill cardstock then I added Big Ribbon and I used my Spellbinder Nestabilities Lacey Circles. Still my only spellbinder, lol! Everytime, I go to Michaels or any craft store near by I always looked at it and grab it. Then when I'm about to pay, I always ended up not getting it. I just don't know why I do that most of the time. I always think about my cricut I can use it to make shapes in any size unlike the spellbinder so limited. But mind you I really like dies, love them all! Also, when I'm making a card I always tell myself I should have gotten it. It would be nice with that border...oh well, I hope next time I'll get some spellbinders hehehe...Anyway, I used my EK success Circle punch to punched the cardstocks all the way through the front flap of the card. So it will create sort of like a window then I stamped the sentiment inside of the card. So that's how I created this cute card.

The quickest and cool card that you can make! Love this technique and you can repeat this over and over just use different stamp images and you won't run out of ideas. I hope you like this one!

My blog candy giveaway WINNER and a Tag!

                         Happy Monday to you all! I hope you all had a great weekend as of me been very busy as usual aren't we all are, lol! But time really flies I can't believe it's June already. My inspiration for this tag was dark, grunge, deep and cute. I challenged myself to create something mysterious but at the same time cute. This technique that I made is definitely my forte, loved it!  So to tell you a little bit about this tag.  I made this tag using Gorjuss stamp (Bluebird’s Proposal) but I colored the bird yellow, lol! Anyhoo, I’ve wanted to use the corrugated board and really was inspired on creating something and using this stamp image that I find it really adorable. I did a lot of mixed media technique in this tag and really enjoyed it so much! I will just summarize what I used in this tag because it’s better to watch it on the video and see how I created this beautiful tag. I used Gesso, gold paint, 3Dimensional fabric paint, heat embossing, distress inks and more. Really, looking forward on creating more of these and I hope you all like this adorable beautiful tag.

Happy Birthday!

Hi Everyone,

 Wow, we're half way of the year, time flies! I have a quick card to share and I used TGF Miss Anya Garland. Colored her with my copic markers and I used lace trim, beads, & buttons. My first time using the Papertrey ink dies and I loved it! Then for the background I used Echo park papers and Bazzil cardstock. I embossed the plain colored cardstock using my sizzix embossing folder. Then I added sentiment from Some odd girl. I hope you like this one!
